Amy Seto Forrester reading to a group of children at Denver Public Library.
As a youth services librarian who coordinates author visits, I know the importance of engaging, interactive elements and have extensive experience connecting with elementary aged kids at the library and in schools. I have 8+ years of experience presenting music-filled storytimes and edge-of-your-seat booktalks. I’m excited to bring my energy and experience to your community!

Note: The best author visits happen when the library/school and kids have spent time with my work before I visit, whether reading my book or creating art related to the book and ideas I’ll be sharing.
VIRTUAL VISITS
30 minute session ($350) ~ Interactive read aloud, talk about the inspiration and creation of the book, a peek at projects I created as a child, and Q&A.
60 minute session ($500) ~ All of the above, with more time to savor the details! Can also include a choose-your-own-adventure writing workshop for kids, families, or grown ups.
Three sessions ($900) ~ Consider coordinating with another library/school in your area!
If logistics allow, I always love dual author visits with my brother, Andy Chou Musser. Visits with Andy include interactive drawing and a behind the scenes look at how the art for our books is created.

*DISCOUNTS FOR IN PERSON VISITS
$500 discount if you provide book sales at an event. Please consider coordinating book sales through a local bookstore or I can put you in contact with my publisher.
If you purchase a book for every student at least one school visit, I will waive up to $500 of my session fees. My hope is that kids farthest from educational justice are able to take home a book and see themselves as readers. Contact me to discuss details.
Consider coordinating with another library/school in your area to further reduce the cost on your end.
